Behind every CAST production is a team of creative people helping to transform an empty stage into another world.

Our Painting & Scenery team helps bring the director’s vision to life, from painting large scenic pieces and backdrops to adding those little finishing touches that make a set feel real.

You might find yourself painting walls, creating signs, ageing furniture, adding texture, decorating props or helping turn a village hall stage into anything from a grand palace to a gloomy dungeon!

You don’t need to be a professional artist. Enthusiasm, imagination and a willingness to get stuck in are far more important.
