Directing and Producing

Every production begins with an idea — and then somebody has to bring all the different pieces together.

Our Directors and Producers guide a show from the earliest planning stages right through to opening night.

The director concentrates on the creative side of the production, working with the cast on characters, scenes, movement, pace and storytelling.

The producer helps organise the practical side, which can include schedules, budgets, communication, publicity, licences and coordinating the many different departments involved.

Together, they help keep the whole production moving in the same direction.

It’s a big responsibility — but incredibly rewarding when months of work finally come together in front of an audience.
