Movement can make a huge difference to a production.
Our Choreography team helps create and teach the movement and dance seen on stage, from big company numbers to simple routines designed to help a scene come alive.
Choreographers work closely with the director and cast to make sure routines suit the production and, just as importantly, suit the people performing them.
That might mean:
creating dance routines
teaching steps during rehearsals
helping performers build confidence
adapting routines for different abilities
spacing performers safely on stage
polishing movement before opening night
You don’t have to be a professional dancer to appreciate how important movement is in theatre.
At CAST, it’s all about helping everyone look confident, comfortable and part of the show.

“Oh, What a Night” in 2026. The “quack quack” singing was just us being daft while learning the routine — not quite what made it into the show!
