Colnbrook Amateur Stage Theatre

Whether you are new to the world of theatre, or have years of experience, either on stage or behind the scenes, you will be welcomed at CAST. Why not pop along to Colnbrook Village Hall on a Monday or Thursday evening from 8pm to 11pm and meet the team?

Our 2010 AGM was held on Thursday 5th August. The 2010/11 season sees Chris Darbon back for a third term as Chairman with Steve Oakes as Treasurer and Becky Macklin as Secretary. Our committee for 2010/11 will be Ian Ward, Keith Hughes, Lucy English, Kim Kettle, Gemma Fisher, Rob Ingham, Emma Warwick and Leanne Harvie. Our thanks go to Laura Oakes, Karen Bold, Phil Excell, Alison Machell and Simon Robson for their their hard work in the roles they fullfilled whilst on committee.

2010/11 sees the significant anniversaries for the group including our 20th year and 50th show and we will be celebrating in style with events planned throughout the year, both informal and more formal.

Our 2011 shows will be Daisy Pulls It Off and Eurovisual 2. Please check out our "Future Productions" pages for details of the shows as infomation becomes available.

Our 2011 pantomime will be decided in approximately April/May 2011 and an EGM will be held after submissions for the show have been invited from the membership.

Did you know that CAST have one designated non-public charity night for every show which they perform??? Entrance to the show is completely free and refreshments are served to the patrons in the interval. If you work for a voluntary organisation, in a residential home or run a local organisation or you know of a local group who could benefit from a free night out at the theatre, please contact us for further details.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Boogie Nights for such an energetic, feel good production.The audiences were dancing in the aisles every night!.

Show related goodie bags can be arranged by CAST (with sufficient prior notice) as well as the birthday boy or girl having their photo taken with the cast of the show on stage after the performance.
